Classic perennial shrub with lots of branches and purplish. Whole plant is highly aromatic, possesing warm, pungent, clover flavour. Reaches Grows 20-30cm (7.87-11.8in) tall and goes especially well with seafood, meat, vegetable dishes, desserts, drinks. Looks very pretty grown in pots as small, compact bush and can be grown indoors/outdoors or given as gift. Matures in 90-95 days.
Growing: During dry season in tropical climate, indoors with a controlled temp. In temperate climates - spring, indoors, 4-6 weeks prior the last date of spring frost; direct seeding after the danger of last frost has passed and soil is workable (May-Jun).
Soil: fertile, well drained, preferably rich in organic matter.
Sowing depth: 0.5cm (0.2in). Sprinkle the seeds on the surface of the soil and barely cover with extra layer.
Spacing: 20cm (7.8in).
Light: full sun.
Watering: moderate.
Fertilizing: optional.
