Heirloom type indeterminate tomato variety suitable for greenhouses & bigger spaces. Super fertile, disease resistant variety setting pink, excellent flavor and smooth texture fruits on large clusters. One branch holds 4-5 fruits, each weighing around 200g. Soft flesh and thin skin improves flavor but requires even watering to prevent cracking. Sweet and rich flavoured, perfect for salads. 10 seeds provide a yield of 20-30kg tomatoes under good growing conditions.
Companion planting: Try growing tomatoes with French Marigolds to deter whitefly, and basil, chives or mint to deter aphids and other pests.
Planting season: Year round in tropical climates; In temperate climates plant indoors 4-6 weeks prior the last frost is gone and transplant outdoors after the danger of all frost is gone.
Soil: Sow the seeds inside light, fertile, well-draining soil, preferably rich in organic matter with a pH between 6-7.
Sowing depth: 0.6cm deep.
Light: Position containers/pots in a bright location with plenty of sunlight. Tomatoes need to get at least 6h of sunlight a day. If natural light isn’t available, place under the growing lights.
Watering: Water moderately to make sure the soil is moist but not wet. Adding more moisture on a still moist soil makes it too wet in deeper layers of the soil, which causes the rot of the seeds/roots. Best to water when the soil is dry to the touch.
Fertilizing: Adding fertilizer regularly ensures healthy growth and fruiting. We highly recommend using TSM Organic Growth Activator to speed up the germination of the seeds, support healthy growth and promote high yields.
Pollination: For pollinating the flowers, you can either shake them or use an electric toothbrush/cotton swab to vibrate each flower. Tomato plants need pollination for setting the fruits.
