Growing: Year round in tropical climate. In temperate climate, start the seeds indoors, 6-8 weeks prior the last frost date and transplant the seedlings outdoors when the danger of last frost is gone and soil has warmed up to at least +18. Seeds germinate at the optimum temp of +22-25C and takes 14-22 days to sprout.
Soil: Fertile, well-drained soil, rich in organic matter.
Sowing Depth: ¼ inch (.6 cm) deep.
Spacing: Approximately 18 inches (45 cm) apart.
Light: Full sun (at least 6h of sunlight a day).
Watering: Water frequently to keep soil moist, but not soggy.
Fertilising: regular fertilizing recommended for the best results.
