Bell Pepper 'Colorful Snack Mix' (Capsicum annuum) - a vibrant, early-fruiting sweet bell pepper mix perfect for tiny gardens, balconies, and pots! This hybrid mix produces lots of colourful, sweet, and wonderfully fragrant mini bell peppers (about 37–42 g each) that are perfect for fresh salads, snacking straight from the plant, or brightening up your meals.

Hot, humid Singapore conditions help peppers thrive — and with limited outdoor space in urban homes, this sweet pepper mix is ideal: compact plants, quick results, gorgeous colourful fruit, and fresh homegrown flavour make it a delight for busy city growers, foodies, and anyone who loves vibrant home harvests!

Why growers love it:

  • Great for small spaces: Compact and manageable plants growing to around 60 cm tall make this mix ideal for pots, balconies, patios, or Singapore’s HDB gardens.

  • Fast fruiting: Produces tasty fruits in about 60–80 days from sowing under good conditions — great for quick harvests in tropical climates like Singapore.

  • Decorative & delicious: Mixed colours and shapes make these peppers a joyful splash of beauty in your space, and their sweet, fragrant flavour makes them irresistible in fresh dishes.

  • Perfect for urban growers: You can easily squeeze this mix into 7–9 pots out of one pack of seeds — so you’ll have plenty of peppers without needing a big garden.

Growing:

Sowing & germination: Sow seeds 0.5–1 cm deep. Germination: 7–12 days.
Pot size: Grows very well in pots. Minimum pot size: 20–25 cm wide, 20 cm deep. One plant per pot for best yield.
Soil:Use well-draining, rich potting mix. Ideal mix: 60% premium potting soil, 20% compost or worm castings, 20% perlite or rice husk. Soil pH: slightly acidic to neutral (6.0–6.8).
Watering: Water daily or every other day, depending on heat. Keep soil moist but never soggy. Water early morning to reduce fungal issues.
Light: 6–8 hours of direct sun daily. Morning sun + light afternoon shade is ideal in Singapore to prevent heat stress.
Fertilizing: Start feeding 2 weeks after transplant. Use balanced fertiliser (e.g. 10-10-10) every 7–10 days. Switch to higher potassium once flowering begins for better fruiting.
Pests & care: Ensure good airflow to prevent fungal diseases. Avoid overcrowding plants. Balcony or window exposure works very well. Watch for aphids, whiteflies, and mites. Use neem oil or mild soap spray weekly if needed. Remove yellow leaves to keep plant healthy.
