Large Flowered Purslane

Growing: year round in tropical climate; in temperate climates plant indoors at 6-8 weeks prior the danger of last frost is gone or plant directly in the garden after all danger of last frost has passed and soil is warm.
Soil: These plants thrive in sandy and rocky soil and demand excellent drainage.Soil that retains too much water can easily cause the plant to die.
Sowing depth: Add the seeds to slightly moist soil and barely cover them—they need light to germinate. Maintain slight soil moisture until the seedlings emerge (germination should take about two weeks), then water the plants only when the top inch of soil is dry. Keep the seedlings by a bright window if you're growing them indoors.
Light: Bright, sunny location with plenty of sunlight. It will do best receiving at least 6-8h of light a day.
Moisture: moderate to make sure the soil is lightly moist but not wet!
Fertilizing: optional, yet highly advised upon planting and twice during the growth period to support healthy growth and promote abundant flowering. We highly advice to use TSM Organic Growth Activator that speeds up the germination of the seeds, supports healthy, robust growth and promotes abundant, deep flowering.
Pests & diseases: generally pests and diseases free.
