Medium early, hot pepper variety. Grows as pretty compact bush, setting 8cm long and 3mm wide, bright orange color fruits. Tender, crisp fruits are very flavourful, juicy with a hot, spicy spark. Excellent colourful touch to any dish.Can be canned. Peppers like warm growing conditions with an optimum soil temp. of +22-25C for germination. Takes 14-22 days to sprout. This variety is suitable to be grown in pots indoors or directly in the ground outdoors. Adds bright touch to the environment around, easy to grow and maintain.
Growing: Planting season: year round in tropical climate; in temperate climate, start the seeds indoors in Mar/Apr and transplant outdoors when the danger of last frost is gone.
Soil: well drained, fertile soil rich in organic matter.
Sowing depth: 0.6-1cm deep inside soil trays or pots. Transfer to 7-10cm pots when true leaves appear. When transplanting, bury seedlings up the stems up to their leaves.
Germination period: 7-20 days, for hot peppers like habaneros it might take up to 45 days.
Plant space: 30-60cm apart.
Light: full sun (at least 6-8h a day) for the best perfomance.
Moisture: regular watering to keep the soil moist (not wet).
