Growing:

Germination:
Sow seeds evenly over moist fine soil and cover lightly with 0.5 cm fine soil. Germinates in 3–7 days at 18–28°C depending on variety. Keep soil evenly moist during sprouting. Thin gradually to allow space for mixed growth and prevent overcrowding.

☀️ Sun & Tropical Care:
Best grown in bright morning sun with afternoon shade in Singapore. This helps reduce bolting and keeps leaves tender and mild. Excellent for balcony and semi-shaded gardens.

Soil, Water & Feeding:
Use fertile, moisture-retentive but well-draining soil in shallow to medium containers. Keep soil consistently moist for soft leafy growth. Feed every 2 weeks with balanced liquid fertilizer for continuous harvests.

Growth & Harvesting:
Begin harvesting baby leaves early for salad mixes or cut outer leaves regularly for continuous regrowth. Fast-growing varieties (like mizuna and rucola) provide early harvest, while others extend production over time for staggered picking.

Pests & Prevention:
May attract aphids, flea beetles, and caterpillars. Ensure airflow, avoid overcrowding, and harvest frequently. Neem oil can be used if needed.
