Hot Chili Pepper Habanero Pack 40 Seeds (Capsicum chinense) Vegetable Heirloom

Colorful collection of Habanero Chili peppers containing 4 amazing varieties varying in color, heat level and flavour. Widely used for fresh consumption, cooked dishes and with spicy sauces. Harvest in about 90 days after planting. Perfect for container growing, indoors and outdoors. Makes a great gift for pepper lovers, as well as for own hot and rare pepper collection. Comes individually packed and labeled. Super pack includes:

1. Habanero Lemon (10 seeds)lantern-shaped, bright lemon color peppers that are 5cm long and 2.5cm wide. Fruits posses a distinctive fruity and citrusy flavor with a beautiful apricot-like aroma. Very hot with Scoville Index between 100,000-350,000 (20 times spicier than Jalapeno peppers).
2. Habanero Red (10 seeds) - highly productive, bright red colour super hot habanero with Scoville index of 200,000-300,000. Easy growing, beautiful compact bush reaches 3ft (0.9m) tall looking stunning loaded with stunning red color fruits. This variety is great for fresh eating, roasting, salsa, pickling or drying. Be careful of burning heat! 
3. Habanero Chocolate (10 seeds) - outstanding variety known as one of the hottest peppers of its kind. Ribbed fruits come in a beautiful chocolate brown color and surprise with exotic, smoky flavor. It is also significantly hotter than other habaneros with a Scoville Index of 425,000-577,000 heat units.
4. Habanero Orange (10 seeds) - highly productive, bright orange colour super hot habanero variety with Scoville index of 200,000-300,000. Easy growing, beautiful compact bush reaches 3ft (0.9m) tall. This variety is great for fresh eating, roasting, salsa, pickling or drying.


Growing: Planting season: 
year round in tropical climates; In temperate climates - Sow seeds in late winter or early spring, no more than two months before your last frost date & transplant after all danger of last frost has gone and temp has well warmed up.

Soil:well drained, fertile soil rich in organic matter.
Sowing depth: 0.6-1cm deep inside soil trays or pots. Transfer to 7-10cm pots when true leaves appear. When transplanting, bury seedlings up the stems up to their leaves.
Germination period: 7-20 days, for hot peppers like habaneros it might take up to 45 days.
Plant space: 30-60cm apart.
Light: full sun;
Moisture: regular watering to keep the soil moist (not wet).
Fertilizing: Peppers are heavy feeders, consider adding additional compost to the soil before planting. We highly recommend using TSM Organic Growth Activator to speed up the germination of the seeds, support healthy growth and promote high yields.
Pests & diseases: fusarium wilt, gray leaf spot, powdery mildew, fungal diseases. Pests include aphids, flea beetles, white flies and cutworms. We highly recommend using TSM Organic Neem Oil for a natural overall protection and treatment of various pests and diseases.
