Frizzle Sizzle Yellow pansy carries bright yellow ruffled flowers beautifully marked with a deep brown blotch. Branching 15-23cm. Plants are early blooming and grow beautifully in beds or containers, balconies and flower gardens. Absolutely gorgeous, adding a tasteful, lovely touch to every garden and home. These flowers are hearty in cool weather.
Growing: year round in tropical climate.
Planting season: spring, indoors, 6-8 weeks prior transplanting; direct seeding in late winter for early spring and summer flowering, or plant seeds in the summer for winter flowering.
Soil: well moist, humus-rich, well drained soil.
Sowing depth: press into soil and barely cover. Needs darkness to germinate. Cover flat with newspaper and keep out of direct sun. Kept at 18-21C., germination is in 14-21 days.
Spacing: 7-12in (17-30cm) apart.
Light: full sun/partial shade.
Watering: regular, making sure that soil is constantly moist, but not soaking wet.
Fertilizing: use general, all-purpose fertilizer around the flowers to help them grow.
