Early, super fertile spring onion heirloom variety, which do not form bulbs and it's popular for its superb flavour, abundant harvest and easy growing. Matures in 45-55 days and contains mild, smooth, sweet and slightly spicy flavour, great for salads and to be used as herb.
Growing: Not suitable for tropical climate.
Planting season: early spring, direct seeding once the soil can be worked.
Soil: well drained, fertile, rich in organic matter.
Sowing depth: 1.5-2.5cm (0.6-1in) deep.
Spacing: 15cm (5.9in)
Spacing in rows: 10cm (4in) apart.
Light: full sun.
Moisture: regular watering to keep the soil moist.
Fertilizing: highly recommended. Add rich compost to the soil prior planting.
