Annual, unique looking, delicious fruits, closely reminding of mini cucumbers. Grows as a climbing vine, setting very unique looking, 2-2.5cm long (0.78-0.98in) long fruits covered with bright green, stripy skin. Whole plant is ornamental, fruits posses very refreshing flavour closely resembling cucumbers with a dash of citrus notes. Delicious eaten as a snack, with salads, as food deco, pickled. Suitable for growing outside and potted inside on windowsills, balconies etc. Easy and fast growing, requires climbing support.
Growing: Planting season: year round in tropical climate; in temperate climates plant in spring, indoors, 4-6 weeks prior the last frost date; direct seeding after the last frost, May to Jun.
Soil: fertile, well drained, rich in organic matter soil.
