Medium early, highly popular leafy variety ready for harvest in 5-7 weeks. Forms compact, colourful , curly, densely packed leaves. Looks very attractive and posses full flavour. Re-grows very quickly after cutting. Suitable for growing outside and inside green houses. Grows best in sunny, bright, warm location and fertile, well drained soil. Posses a great amount of natural fibber and minerals, supporting healthy well being and overall health.
Planting season: Year round in tropical climate; in temperate climates - Early spring, starting the seeds indoors 4-6 weeks prior the last frost date and transplanting when the danger of last frost is gone, or direct seeding once the soil is workable. Sow every 2-3 weeks for continuous supply of fresh lettuce.
Soil: light, loose, fertile soil with a pH of 6.3-6.8, preferably rich in organic matter.
Sowing depth: 0.1/0.3in (0.5-1cm) deep.
Spacing: Baby leaf - continuous band; full size - 8 to 12in (20-30in);
