Annual leafy heirloom grown like lettuce. Posses beautifuly shaped, highly aromatic, bright green leaves that are nutty and sweet, super delicious! Goes extremely well in salads and salad mixes, garnishes, sandwiches etc, adding a lovely warm, nutty flavour. Very fast and easy growing, yielding abundantly. For continious harvest seeds can be sown several times a year. Rich in essential nutrtients, naturally supporting well being.
Growing: Early spring, indoors, 4-6 weeks prior the danger of last frost is gone; direct seeding 2-3 weeks prior the last frost date.
Soil: well drained, fertile soil with a pH of 6-6.8, preferably rich in organic matter.
Sowing depth: 0.5cm (0.2in). Sprinkle the seeds on the surface of the soil and barely cover.
Spacing: 12-18in (30-45cm) apart.
Light: full sun/partial shade.
Watering: regular to keep the soil moist.
Fertilizing: recommended.
