Bacopa is one of the easiest, most versatile low-growing plants with starry white flowers that will spill over the side of a planter or creep along the edge of a flower bed as a ground cover. Charming, jewel-like flowers look absolutely stunning, making them valuable filler plant for hanging baskets and containers. The tumbling, evergreen stems of Bacopa bear a smothering of snow white flowers throughout summer, that keep baskets looking full of colour for longer. Height: 15cm. Spread: 45cm. Perfect for flower gardens, balconies, terraces etc.
Growing: year round in tropical climate. Temperate climates - early spring indoors and transplant outdoors in spring after frosts have passed.
Soil: Moist, well drained soil, preferably rich in organic matter with a pH 5.5 - 6.0. Press the flower seeds into the seed starting soil, and keep moist. Trailing Bacopa seeds need light for germination.
Sowing Depth: Do not cover with extra layer, as seeds need light to germinate.
Sowing Rate: 2 - 3 seeds per plant.
Average Germ Time: 7 - 10 days.
Plant Spacing: 20X50cm
Moisture: Keep seeds moist until germination. When seeds germinate water regularly to keep the soil moist but do not over water. It's enough to add moisture when soil feels dry to the touch.
